How to Tape Your Wrist with Kinesiology Tape — Video

Original Proworks studio footage of a two-strip wrist application, applied one-handed. About half a minute, no commentary.

What happens in the video

  1. Peel the backing — split near one end and draw it back as you go
  2. First strip — laid along the back of the forearm from a stretch-free anchor
  3. Second strip — across the wrist, both ends down with no stretch
  4. Smooth — pressed and rubbed along its length to warm the adhesive
  5. Finished — the completed application

The part people get wrong

Tension. Both ends of every strip go down with no stretch at all — only the middle carries any. If your fingers tingle or feel cold, it is too tight; take it off and redo it.
